WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) today announced a $632,593 grant to the city of Florence, Ala., to provide the necessary water and wastewater infrastructure to support the development of a new, state-of-the-art regional medical center that will serve a nine-county region in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
